I am extremely sorry to hear of this. Dick was someone I did business with and became a quick friend. He and Ginny took the time to drive a great distance to come and meet with me. He was an honest man that I sincerely trusted him. I am truly sorry for the loss to your family. I am glad to have known him and will remember him often.

Dick was one of the finest and friendliest men I have ever met. I have had the Honor to service him as a deliver driver for one of his suppliers for the past three years. I always enjoyed our brief conversations and his sense of humor, and appreciated greatly his excitement when I told him my Daughter had joined our local Fire Department. He will be sorely missed and I offer my most sincere condolences to the Family and to all the Fire Departments in which he proudly served. May GOD BLESS you Sir and insure your final "Call" be without incident. Rest in eternal Peace Mr. Shakerley you have earned it.
