Obituary of Michael K. Heidcamp

Cohoes – Michael K. Heidcamp (Tiger), 56, of Congress Street, Cohoes passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. Born in Glens Falls, N.Y. on July 19, 1955. He was the son of the late James and Christine Heidcamp. He worked as a cook for several years. He resided in Cohoes and Troy most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing horseshoes, camping and enjoyed fishing with his best friend Daniel Blakely and his nephew Michael Golas, Jr. He is survived by his loving sister, Michele (Dan) Blakely of Cohoes. Devoted father of Jennifer Reinhart of Lincoln City, Oregon and Natasha Heidcamp of Albany. Loving grandfather of Alician Reinhart, Tamara Adams and Emily Mimbs. Uncle of Tiffany (TK) Radley, Amanda (Joe) Simmons Wescott, Michael Golas, Jr., Austin and Madison Radley, Makenna Gonzalez and Brianna Wescott all of Cohoes. Funeral Tuesday morning 11:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:00am to 11:00am. A special thank you to the Cohoes Fire Department, the staff at Samaritan Hospital 5th and 6th floor, Rensselaer County Hospice, Dr. Gregorian and his office for all the loving care you all showed Michael.
