Cohoes Ann Rinchik Kelenski, 90, formerly of Cohoes until 2009 then moving to Pennsylvania, died at her home in Pennsylvania on Sunday July 20, 2014 after a brief illness. Born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Michael and Magdalene Hancraryk Rinchik. She worked for 15 years at Behr-Manning in Watervliet prior to becoming a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Edmund J. Kelenski, passing in 2009. Survived by her sons, Eugene E. (Katherine) Kelenski of Dataw Island, S.C. and Kevin John (Ida) Kelenski of Orefield, PA. Grandmother of Michelle (Randy) Brenner of Niskayuna, Stephanie Kelenski of San Diego, Calif., Julia Kelenski of Denver CO., Michael and Kevin Kelenski of Orefield, PA. and 7 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Stella Rinchik, Eugene Rinchik and William Rinchik, also survived by two sister-in-laws, Helen Rinchik of Cohoes and Charlotte Rinchik of Patterson, N.Y. and nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday 11:00am at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, N.Y. The family will receive friends at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday from 4 to 7pm. Those who wish to remember Ann in a special way may make a contribution to Church of the Holy Trinity Organ Fund.
