Cohoes Theresa M. Mainville Marsett, 81, formerly of Cohoes and Our Lady of Hope died at Schuyler Ridge Residential Health Care, Clifton Park on Tuesday July 15, 2014 after a brief illness. Born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emeline LeMay Mainville. She was a machine operator at Swan Knit in Cohoes and was a former communicant of St. Ritas Sacred Heart Church, Cohoes. Wife of the late Donald A. Marsett. Mother of Donald (Janice) Marsett of Cohoes, Raymond (Darlene) Marsett of Cohoes, David (Star) Marsett of Alaska, Vance (Lisa) Marsett of Troy and Donna (Mike) Rubinski of Watervliet, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sister of Blanche (Manuel) Lopez of Latham, Paul Mainville of Puerto Rico, Leo Mainville, Mary Anne (John) White, Pauline Zona, Peter (Wendy) Mainville all of Cohoes, Bernadette Wood of Clifton Park, Richard Mainville, Agnes (Bob) St. Pierre both of Florida, Rose Ardia of Latham, Thomas (Rosemary) Mainville of Troy, Susan Mainville of Melrose and the late Joseph E., Francis and Robert Mainville and Patricia Strock, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday, 10:00am at Our Lady of Hope Chapel, Latham where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Friday from 5 to 7pm. Interment at the convenience of the family. Those who wish to remember Theresa in a special way may make a contribution to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
