Troy Edmond H. Pixley, 62, of Troy died suddenly at his residence, Monument Square, Troy on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Born in Troy, educated in the Cohoes schools and was the son of the late Harold G. and Rose J. Pixley. He was a press operator at Jay Moulding in Cohoes. He was predeceased by his wife, Diana Manning Pixley. Survived by his daughters, Robin Pixley of Watervliet, Nicole Pixley of Albany, step-children Kenneth, James, Brian and Kathleen and several grandchildren. Brother of Robert Pixley of Schenectady, Rosemarie Edelstein of Waterford, Janette McCary of Rexford, Yvette Whinnery of Cohoes, Bernadette Manning of Johnsonville and Maurice Pixley of Cohoes, also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday 7PM with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Wednesday 5PM to 7 PM. Those who wish to remember Edmond in a special way may make a contribution to the United Church of Cohoes.
