Obituary of Jeanne T Trudeau
Jeanne T. Bernard Trudeau, 83, of Cohoes passed away with her family by her side at St. Peter’s Hospice, Albany on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 after a short illness. Born in Cohoes, she graduated from Catholic Central High School. Daughter of the late Armand and Rose Turcotte Bernard. She was a Teacher’s Aide for the Cohoes City School District for 25 years. A parishioner of the Church of the Holy Trinity. Jeanne loved to go to Bingo, socializing with her friends and going to the casino. She also loved gardening and flowers, taking care of her home and her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Survivors include her husband, John (Jack) Trudeau of Cohoes, her daughters, Linda (John) DiCarlo of New Hampshire and Janet (Richard) Eustace of Cohoes, her grandchildren, Matthew, Paul, Zachary and Ryan and her great grandchildren, Daniela, Lucia and Emma. Close relative of Maryann Lundy, also survived by many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Monday 11:00am at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Monday morning from 9 to 10:30am prior to the service. Those who wish to remember Jeanne in a special way may donate to the Arthritis Foundation in her memory.
