Obituary of Theresa E. Bolton

Theresa Emily Dushane Bolton, 102, of Cohoes passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 after a short illness.  Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late John and Theresa Tomaro Dushane.  Theresa worked for the Cohoes School System for many years.  A former member of St. Agnes Church, Cohoes and present communicant of the Church of the Holy Trinity.  She loved doing crafts, shopping, spending time with her great grandchildren and cats.  Predeceased by her husband, Richard Bolton and her 9 siblings.  She is survived by her son, Richard and his wife Mary Ann Bolton of Florida, her grandchildren, Jill and her husband Michael Cannizzo of Schaghticoke and Eric and his wife Theresa Bolton of Burnt Hills and great grandmother of Michael Cannizzo, Emma Bolton, Kyle Cannizzo and Abigael Bolton.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  The funeral will be held Saturday 9:00am at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.  Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lansingburgh.  Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Friday from 4 to 7pm.  Those who wish to remember Theresa in a special way may make a donation to St. Peter’s Hospice Inn, Albany in her memory.
