William E. (Shoe) Crandall, 74, of Waterford, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 after a brief illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, he was the son of the late William E. and Dorothy Bourassa Crandall. He was a roofer for B & J Roofing in Cohoes for many years. Husband of the late Alice Vaillancourt Crandall. Father of Edward Crandall, Sandi Hanna, Shane Crandall and Jamie (Tim) Bressette all of Waterford, grandfather of Christopher and Jonathan Bressette and Katelynn Hanna. Brother of Dorothy (Dot) Lafountaine of Cohoes, also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral 9:00am Saturday at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Mother Kathy Coons from Grace Church Waterford officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7pm.
