Obituary of Catherine J Altieri

Catherine J. Heppelle Altieri, 65, of Delmar passed away suddenly at her residence on Monday, May 22, 2017. Born in Albany, educated in Albany schools and attended Hudson Valley Community College. Daughter of the late Theodore and Katherine Schermerhorn Heppelle. She worked in cleaning service for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved cooking. She touched every bodies heart that she came in contact with. She was well known for her coffee. Survivors include her children, Angelo Altieri, Jr. (Christina) of Delmar, Keri Altieri (Jason) of Rotterdam, Catherine Altieri (Justin) of Delmar, Kristen Altieri (John) of Delmar, special mother of Kaitlynn Carkner (Zach) of Delmar, Breana Carkner of Delmar and mother of the late April Altieri. Grandmother of Aaron Pickel, Angelo Altieri, Heaven Pickel, Ariana Gardy, Jordan Altieri, Destiny Stafford, Briella Gardy, Mason Gardy, Skylynn Biittig and Colton Hoose, also survived by many loved ones and best friends Carol Coluccio of Albany, Sharon Palmer of Cohoes and Kelly Blodgett of New Baltimore and former husband, Angelo Altieri, Sr. of Albany.
