Obituary of Judith E Morrissey
Cohoes – Judith E. Murdza Morrissey, 69, of Cohoes, passed away at Albany Medical Center Hospital, on Monday, January 16, 2023. She was born in Cohoes, educated in Cohoes, graduating from Cohoes High School and was the daughter of the late Edward and Lorraine Vallee Murdza. She worked for Garden Way Manufacturing in Troy for 25 years. Judy enjoyed camping at Coldbrook in Wilton, she loved Bingo and playing cards. The love of her life was her dog, Jazz. Survived by the best husband Gary Morrissey of Cohoes, mother of Amber (Matthew) Quay of Berne, grandmother of Kyle and Nicholas. Sister of Colleen (William) Brunet of Clifton Park, Thomas M. (Cindy) Murdza of Clifton Park and sister of the late Lori J. Murdza, also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 4 to 6pm. Friends who wish to remember Judy in a special way may donate to Crazy Paws Dog Rescue in her memory.
