Thelma M. Hurst Taylor, 92, of Cohoes passed away at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 after a short illness. Born in Troy, educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Grant and Edna McGrath Hurst. She was a machine operator at Swan Knit in Cohoes for many years before retiring. She was a former secretary for the American Legion Post 476 in Cohoes. Wife of the late William Taylor. Mother of Jeffrey (Kim) Taylor of Saranac Lake, NY, John P. (and the late Beverlyann) Taylor of Cohoes, Patricia M. Taylor of Cohoes and the late Lawrence W. Taylor, survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister and brothers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 9:00am at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes. Burial at the convenience of the family. Those who wish to remember Thelma in a special way make donate to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penney Lane, Latham, NY 12110 in her memory
