Thelma B. St. Gelais Ashline, 90, of Cohoes passed away peacefully at The Springs Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Troy on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 after a long illness. Born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Rose Deno St. Gelais. She was a machine operator at Barclay's in Cohoes for many years. She enjoyed her family gatherings. Thelma was predeceased by her husband Leslie Ashline, her son Samuel Corp and several sisters and brothers. Survivors include her sister, Yvonne (Raymond) Golas of Cohoes and her brothers Arthur St. Gelais of Mechanicville and Francis St.Gelais of No. Troy, grandmother of Mary (Andrew) Einhorn of Schenectady, Samuel Corp of Glenville, Katherine Corp of Troy and great grandchildren Emily, Caleb, Gabriel and Juniper, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday 11:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Deacon Charles Valenti officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 to 11:00 prior to the service.
