Cohoes – Dawne A. Linen D'Amico, 71, of Cohoes passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late William and Theresa Polskowski Linen. Dawne devoted her life to raising her children and she loved animals. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Frank D'Amico of Cohoes, her children, Dawne D'Amico of Albany, Deborah (Robert) Phillips of Latham, Frank (Tanya) D'Amico of Latham, Anthony (Mary) D'Amico of Wynantskill, Denna D'Amico of Halfmoon and Gino D'Amico of Halfmoon, 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Sister of Theresa Hrynezuk, Daniel Linen, Robert Linen and Thomas Linen and the late William Linen. Also, survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday 11:00am at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Thursday from 4 to 7pm. Those who wish to remember Dawne in a special way may donate to Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, Menands in her memory.
