Cohoes – Reina M. Riel Lyman, 80, of Cohoes, passed away at Riverside Center for Rehabilitation at Castleton on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Dieudonne and Jeanne Hamlin Riel. She retired from the Troy Record newspaper after 25 years of service. Survived by her daughter Donna Spiak of Ballston Lake, NY and mother of the late Daniel Lyman, sister of Roger Riel of Waterford and Ronald (Nancy) Riel of Crescent. Grandmother of Jessica (Joseph) and Jaime and her great grandchildren Maverick and Nolan, also survived by nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 1:00pm at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. For condolences, www.dufresnefuneralhome.com.
