Laurette C. Deyoe, 85, of Cohoes, passed away at Samaritan Hospital on February 14, 2021. Laurette was born in Cohoes to the late Leo and Lucina Bouleris Charbonneau. She graduated from Cohoes High School and worked for 30 years at New York Telephone Company. Laurette was the widow of Joseph LeClair and Edward Deyoe. Survivors include her loving partner of 20 years, Jack O’Rourke, daughter Donna (Robert) Metcalfe, grandchildren Heather (Anthony) Scirocco, Tiffany Martin and Bobby (Melinda) Metcalfe and great grandchildren Madison, Vince, Sam, and Max. Laurette is also survived by her loving sisters, Claire Halliday, Jean Minnick, Lillian (John) Kane, Ellen Barno and Ann (Marty) Cronin, and sisters-in-law Patricia Charbonneau, Carol-Anne Charbonneau and Celia Rosecrans as well as many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 122 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes, NY on Friday May 21, 2021 from 10:30-11:00 am prior to a Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. The family asks anyone wishing to make a donation in Laurette’s memory to please consider the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
