Joe, heaven gained an angel this week and it was you. Our hearts are heavy with grief. You gave your all to your ministry and through your guidance, I learned so much. You were so good to Josh and Aaron, always encourgaing them and worrying about them. You will forever be missed and will always have a special place in our hearts. We all love you. God bless!

Words cannot express how I feel at this time of loss. There is a hole in my heart that will never be healed. Joe was our Pater Familias in the choir. There is an emptiness. I will always see Joe seated at the organ playing that beautiful and inspiring music. Janie so sorry for your loss. God speed my friend. I can almost hear you playing with the angels. Mary joins me in expressing our sympathy with Joe's family.

We are sad to no longer have the company of you, dear friend. But you will always hold a special place in our hearts. All will miss the sound of your marvelous talents on the keyboard. You gave so much of yourself to your ministry and there was no doubt in our minds that your mission first and foremost was to give praise and honor to God in the most beautiful way possible. Your light will always shine in the choir loft. "Well done, good and faithful servant"....

As a former student a Cohoes Catholic School (formally St. Maries) and former alter girl at Holy Trinity (St. Maries), Joe was a big part of my childhood. My family, friends, and I all sang along with him every Sunday or Saturday for many years. He was always kind. Although it's been many years since I've lived in Cohoes, I can still hear the sound of his laugh and beautiful singing. Rest in peace, Joe.
