Obituary of Eleanor M. Ringer
Eleanor M. Ringer, 94, of Clifton Park, passed away at Diamond Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Home on Saturday, February 9, 2019. She was born and educated in Keene, New Hampshire, but spent most of her life in Cohoes. Eleanor was a homemaker who loved and supported her family. She loved nights out dancing with her husband and was known as the life of the party. She was a member of the Cohoes Columbiettes Council #192. Wife of the late Edward J. Ringer. Mother of Mark A. Ringer of Clifton Park and Kirk (Kim) Ringer of Niskayuna, grandmother of Carlyn, Joseph, Derek, Brian and Mary Ringer and great grandmother of Ryan, Megan-Jane, Ian and Piper Ella Ringer. Sister of the late Howard Carberry and Dorothy Wood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11:00am in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the Church from 10:30am to 11:00am prior to the Mass. Friends who wish to remember Eleanor in a special way may donate to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4 Pine West Plaza, Suite 405, Albany, NY 12205 in her memory.
