Obituary of Lawrence R. Carr
Gloversville – Lawrence R. (Coach) Carr, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Gloversville on Monday, September 24, 2018. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late William and Gretchen Evans Carr. A graduate of Averill Park High School. Larry was a college level baseball coach for most of his life. Larry is survived by his daughter, Lori Beeman of Camillus, NY, his grandson Mitchell Lamb and granddaughter Alexis Lamb Smith. Brother of Barbara Carr, Carole Carr and Roy Carr also survived by cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Waterford Rural Cemetery, 11:15 am on Friday, September 28, 2018 with Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. Friends who wish to remember Larry in a special way may make a contribution to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, 34 Washington Street, Suite 200, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481 in his memory.
