Rexford Anita M.Dempsey, 90, of Meadow View Apts., Rexford, died at her residence on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 after a long illness. She was born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Racette Roberts. Anita had been employed by the Troy District Shirt Co. and later worked for the College of St. Rose for 25 years as a supervisor in the food service department for the Szabo Food Service Co., retiring 15 years ago at the age of 75. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Dempsey. She is survived by her daughter Sheila M. Dempsey of Rexford, her brother George R. Roberts of Ballston Spa, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 11:00 am at The Church of the Holy Trinity where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Friday from 4 to 7pm. Arrangement by LOOBY FUNERAL HOME Cohoes, New York
