Joann Comtois, 62, of Cohoes passed away at the Eddy Village Green, Cohoes on Friday, April 24, 2015 after a long illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Catherine Radliff Comtois. She was a nurse's aide at the Ford Nursing Home, Cohoes for 25 years. She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Comtois of Albany, her siblings, Marion Heroux of East Nassau, Roland Comtois of Cohoes, Kathleen Sears of Stillwater, Kenneth Comtois of Cohoes, Lori O'Konski of Alabama, John Gleason of Cohoes, Darren Gleason of Waterford and Michael Gleason of Clifton Park, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 9:30am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. James Ebert officiating. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7pm.
