Obituary of John J. Kelley

Troy – John J.Kelley, 90, of Row D Way, Troy, died at St. Mary’s Hospital, Troy after a long illness. Born and educated in Cohoes and was the son of the late Edward and Helen England Kelly. He was a retired maintenance worker for the City of Cohoes. He was pre-deceased by his siblings, Helen Malo, Dorothy Erno, Margaret Mitale, Walter Kelley, Frank Kelly, William Kelly, Robert Kelly and Harold Kelly. Husband of the late Eleanor Perry Kelley. Father of Anita (David) Sperbeck of Voorheesville, John Kelley, Jr. of Troy, Eleanora Kelley (William Guynup) of Fl and Theresa (William) DeMayo of Troy. Brother of Elizabeth Fedorshanko of Cohoes, Theresa Erno of Clifton Park, Eileen Labarge of Cohoes, James Kelly of Clifton Park, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9:00am at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes with Rev. James Ebert officiating. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 7pm.
